Our mission with My Life Class is to provide high quality and affordable mental health education to Oklahoma and Beyond!
Over the past few years, the United States has witnessed a decline in mental health, with a surge in anxiety and depression cases (1).
Factors like the COVID-19 pandemic have exacerbated the mental health crisis (2). According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, there is a need to enhance mental health support and interventions (3).
We are here to answer the call!
At Edmond Counseling and Professional Development we have the honor of providing professional counseling services to hundreds of clients per year.
In addition, we train thousands of mental health providers through our Oklahoma Counseling Institute.
My Life Class is the next chapter in our mission to improve the mental health in our community and beyond.
While My Life Class content and courses are not meant to replace one on one attention and guidance from a trained mental health professional, we do believe that the skills taught in our courses can help individuals improve their own mental health and their relationships.
