Psychology Today's Therapist Finder is THE place where most mental health therapists in private practice advertise their practices.

Search for a therapist by location, population served, conditions treated, insurance accepted, therapy approach, ect.

Ask a Trusted Friend

Just like you would ask a friend for a recommendation for a hair stylist or plumber, ask if they know a good counselor in town. If your friend hasn't received services from a mental health therapist, chances are they have had a family member who has. Don't be shy!
